Beef Chimichurri Burger
Chimichurri Burger Is similar to the American Burger. However, the ground meat is seasoned with spices and herbs. Instead of ketchup, a mixture of mayonnaise, ketchup and tabasco sauce is used as a dressing

4 hamburger buns, split
1 1/4 pound ground beef chuck
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 large red bell pepper, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1 carrot, coarsely grated
1 small red onion, cut Julienne style (raw or sauté)
1-2 tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
Sauce or Dressing
4 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoon of Tabasco sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
TIP: You can any meat of your choice and any sauce of your choice
Mix the ground meat, oregano, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and cilantro
Form 4 burger patties
Heat a large griddle or skillet, using medium heat, and toast the burger buns. Set aside
Using the same griddle and skillet, heat oil and cook the burger patties, turning occasionally. Transfer to buns
Mix cabbage, onions and carrots with a pinch of salt. Divide among burgers. Add a slice or two of tomato
Mix ketchup, mayonnaise and Tabasco sauce and pour it on the burger
Serve alone with potato or yucca fries
