Deep Fried Pork Skin
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 3-5
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
3 pound of pork with skin on , cut into chunks
1/2- 1 tablespoon of salt
1 1/2 tablespoon of oregano
2 lime juice, freshly squeezed
6 cups of oil or more for deep-frying
INSTRUCTIONS
TIP: You can use a deep pot if you do not have a deep fryer. Use an anti-splatter cover when using a pot.
TIP: Use sufficient oil to cover the meat. The less oil you use , the more oil the meat will absorb. Hence, to prevent oil absorbtion, use sufficient oil
Season the pork with all the above ingredients for at least ½ hr
Remove meat from marinade and use a paper towel to remove excess liquid
In deep fryer or deep pot heat oil and add the meat. Turning occasionally until golden.
