Very Sweet fry Plantains (Maduros)
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Servings: 3-5
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Tool: A deep fryer or skillet
2 ripen plantains (yellow brown, very soft to the touch)
Oil
Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Make a shallow slit along the length of the plantains.
Remove peel using your thumb to pull away the peel. Cut them in halves or 2" diagonally
Using a skillet, heat sufficient oil (2-3 cups) and fry on medium heat until is golden brown
Transfer cooked plantains to a paper towel to drain oil
Sprinkle with salt
